WILL POULTER

Will Poulter is an English actor, recognized for his performances as Lee Carter in Son of Rambow (2007), Eustace Scrubb in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2010), Kenny Rossmore in We’re the Millers (2013), Gally in The Maze Runner (2014) and most recently, Adam Warlock in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy (2023).

Will was born in Hammersmith, London, the son of Caroline (Barrah), a nurse, and Neil Poulter, a professor of cardiology. His mother was raised in an Anglo family in Kenya, where her own father was a prominent game warden at the Maasai Mara wildlife sanctuary.

Will is a passionate advocate for mental health and anti-bullying, and he fully supports the ethos and aims of Charlie’s charity. Will has actively encouraged Charlie to promote anti-bullying since they met at ‘The Diana Award’ events several years ago, and they have formed a bond and become close friends since.
JODIE PRENGER

Award-winning actress, singer, charity worker and dog lover. As my nan used to say: “It’s nice to be important, but more important to be nice.”

Jodie is a renowned actress, singer and performer, who has shot to stardom from humble beginnings. Originally from Blackpool, Lancashire, Jodie performed extensively on the cabaret and musical circuit before going on to win the part of Nancy on the West End revival of Oliver!, a role which would earn her the 2010 WhatsOnStage award for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical.

Jodie has performed worldwide with international stars such as John Barrowman, played major roles in several television series, is a radio presenter, has her own fitness dvd and is a passionate advocate for people with type diabetes. She is currently in ITV’s Coronation Street as Glenda Shuttleworth.

She is 100% behind Charlie and his passionate approach to anti-bullying and making a difference.
DANYL JOHNSON

Reading (Berkshire) based Danyl Johnson rocketed to fame on The X Factor in 2009 with his version of Joe Cocker’s With a Little Help from My Friends, which has since become a YouTube sensation with nearly 50 million+ views. He also went on to appear in the hit television show, Benidorm.

Danyl helps to front the ‘People’s Postcode Lottery’ alongside Jason Donavan, and he has been involved with the Pride of Reading Awards for many years.

Danyl is an ambassador for several charities, both local and national, including Launchpad in Reading and the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust. In 2015, Danyl was nominated and won the Community Champion award at the Pride of Reading Awards for his charity work and loves to be a part of his hometown of Reading.  He is a key member of the Pride of Reading Awards team, where Charlie first met Danyl.

Danyl is so happy to be part of The Charlie Kristensen Foundation #CheerUpCharlie. The future is beyond bright.
NIKKI BENTLEY

Nikki is a British actor, West End performer, singer, coach, mentor and Acting Through Song & Singing Teacher.

She is famous for her many high-profile musical theatre roles. Her credits include starring as Elphaba in Wicked in the West End, and performing in the companies of Shrek the Musical and Ghost the Musical.

Nikki trained in Musical Theatre at Performers College, graduating in 2009, receiving the BBC Musical Theatre Bursary in 2009. She is a passionate advocate for mental health and the welfare of performing artists.

Nikki is a close part of Charlie’s personal and professional support network, and Charlie adores her.
NATHANIEL MORRISON

Nathaniel began singing from the young age of 4 in his local Pentecostal Church!

He graduated from Mountview Academy Of Theatre Arts, London with a B.A. (Hons) degree, simultaneously achieving his UK Tour and West End debut as Stevie Wonder in Dancing in the Streets, reprising the role numerable times.

Nathaniel discovered a new found and deep rooted friendship and brotherly relationship with #CheerupCharlie’s Charlie Kristensen, which has produced some great collaborations for The Diana Awards and other charities close to both of their hearts!

He looks forward to collaborating with the incredibly talented and unstoppable ‘brother from another mother’, all for an extremely worthy cause.
DOMINIC FERRIS

Piano player to the stars. Producer and Arranger.

Dominic’s collaborations with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra have sold over 3 million albums worldwide. He has performed on and provided orchestrations for six top ten albums since 2015, all recorded at Abbey Road Studios, and recently worked with Michael Ball on his latest release Coming Home To You, reaching No.1 in the UK album chart. 

Dominic joined the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra as assistant musical director and pianist for the Elvis Presley: If I Can Dream UK arena tour and Memphis Symphony Orchestra for the USA anniversary tour, finishing with a performance at Graceland with Priscilla Presley for the Elvis 40th Anniversary Celebrations.

Dominic regularly tours around the world with his piano duo The Piano Brothers. Endorsed by Steinway & Sons, and is also one half of musical theatre double act Ferris & Milnes. The duo have become known for their mashup medleys including “33 Sondheim Numbers in 5 Minutes”, and “30 Gershwin Numbers in Under 6 Minutes”.

Dominic has actively supported Charlie and his anti-bullying work since it all began and is proud to be a patron of The Charlie Kristensen Foundation.
JAMIE READ

Jamie Read is an international vocal coach and award-winning arts leader.

Beginning his career as a performer, he appeared at the National Theatre in the West End in Entertaining Strangers, alongside Dame Judi Dench, The Wizard of Oz (Barbican), Marvin’s Room (Harold Pinter Theatre), Hard Times The Musical (Theatre Royal Haymarket), and Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Gillian Lynne Theatre).

Jamie is delighted and honoured to be involved as a Patron, and be Chair of the Board of Trustees for The Charlie Kristensen Foundation, which does amazing work that is close to his heart. He is also very proud to be Charlie’s singing teacher.
SAM RETFORD

Sam Retford (Born 22 June 1999) is an Australian-English actor and filmmaker, known for portraying the role of Cory Wilson on the Channel 4 drama Ackley Bridge. As well as starring in various stage productions, he has also made appearances in television series such as Casualty and Death in Paradise. In 2021, he joined the cast of the ITV soap opera Coronation Street as Curtis Delamere. Since then he has made several appearances on screen as he continues to work with his company Collective Media to create and produce independent films.
